Out here, distance is the diagnosis

The closest specialist might be in Amarillo. We're closer.

In the Panhandle, coming home from the hospital can mean a two-hour drive and no follow-up for weeks. Our nurses and therapists close that gap. We see patients in Guymon, Hooker, Goodwell, Texhoma, Beaver and Boise City, and we schedule routes so nobody waits because they live at the end of a section road.

Half our staff grew up here and a third of us speak Spanish at home. That matters when you are explaining a new heart medication to someone's grandmother at her kitchen table.

Sample family reviews

From Panhandle families

My husband came home from Amarillo with a PICC line and I was terrified of it. The nurse came every day for two weeks, and by the end she had me flushing it myself.
Gloria T.Wife of a patient, Hooker
They sent a nurse who spoke Spanish to my mother without me even asking. She understood her medicines for the first time in years.
Adrián R.Son of a patient, Guymon
Seventy miles each way to Boise City and the therapist never missed a Tuesday. I'm back to feeding cattle.

Good to know

Questions, answered

Who pays for home health?

Medicare Part A or B covers home health in full for patients who are homebound and need part-time skilled nursing or therapy under a doctor's plan of care. Most Medicare Advantage plans and SoonerCare also cover it. Our office checks your coverage before the first visit.

What does homebound mean?

Leaving home takes a considerable and taxing effort, or you need help, a device or a ride to do it. You can still go to church, the barber or a medical appointment and qualify.

Do you have Spanish-speaking nurses?

Yes. Several of our nurses, therapists and office staff are bilingual. Tell us when you call and we will match you.

How far do you travel?

We cover all of Texas, Beaver and Cimarron counties. If you live just across the line in Texas or Kansas, call us anyway and we will find the right agency for you.
