A life plan community in Tyler, Texas

Stay for the roses. Stay for the rest of it, too.

Garden homes, apartments and a full continuum of care on one thirty-acre campus, so the next chapter never means another move across town.

Since 1988

One address for every season after this one.

Laurel Glen began with twelve garden homes and a promise from our founding board: if your needs change, your address doesn't have to. Today that promise covers independent living, assisted living, memory care and a skilled nursing and rehab center, all within a short walk of each other.

Most residents move in while they are still the ones giving rides to everyone else. They come for the dining room, the rose beds and the Tuesday bridge game, and they stay because the people taking care of them later are people they already know.

In their words

When Daddy had his fall, Mother walked across the courtyard to see him every morning and was back in her own apartment for supper. That is exactly why they chose Laurel Glen.
Anne-Marie L.Daughter of two residents
I came for the dining room and the bridge game. Eight years later I'm still here for both, and I've buried no plants since the garden club took me in.
Frances H.Resident since 2017
