How it works here

Keep your own front door. Lose the chores.

Saddle Creek is independent living, plain and simple. You keep your own place, your own schedule and your own car if you want it. We take the yard, the roof, the gutters and the 2 a.m. worries off your plate.

Most mornings the raised beds out back are busier than the front office. Residents grow enough okra and peppers to stock our dining room from June to the first frost, and the extra goes to the Peach Festival bake table every July.

What families tell us

Dad was going to fight us on moving. Two weeks in he had a garden plot, a coffee group and an opinion about everyone's tomatoes.
Rhonda K.Daughter of a resident
We sold a three-bedroom house and a riding mower. I don't miss either one, and we see more people in a day than we used to in a month.
