Who we are

Twelve clinicians, three counties and a lot of gravel roads.

Lupe Herrera spent fifteen years as a hospital nurse watching patients go home to Ninnekah, Tuttle and Rush Springs with a bag of prescriptions and a lot of questions. She started Washita Home Health so somebody would be there to answer them, at the kitchen table, the week it counts.

Today our nurses and therapists cover Grady, Caddo and McClain counties. We keep caseloads small enough that your nurse can stay an extra ten minutes, and we still call every patient the evening after their first visit.

Notes from our patients

Our nurse drove out past Amber on a dirt road in the rain, twice a week, for six weeks. She never once acted like it was out of her way.

Dad wouldn't use the walker for anybody until the therapist made a game out of it. By week four he was walking to the mailbox and back.
