Our story

A group of Sherman families opened the Belvedere with sixty apartments, a dining room that stayed open late and a secondhand Steinway.

The music room was expanded into the Salon, and Austin College students began playing there every Thursday.

Skilled nursing and rehab joined the building, so residents could recover a hallway from home.

Memory care opened with lighting designed to ease the late-afternoon hours that are hardest for people living with dementia.

Two hundred residents, four levels of care, and a supper club that's been full every Friday for twenty-five years.
