Questions, answered
Does Medicare cover assisted living?
No. Medicare does not pay for room and board in assisted living. Most residents pay privately or with long-term care insurance. Some Texans qualify for Medicaid help through the STAR+PLUS program; our office can explain what applies.
Can a married couple live together?
Yes. Our one-bedroom apartments suit couples well, even when only one spouse needs care.
What if more care is needed later?
Our nurse updates the care plan and level and talks with you first. If needs go beyond what assisted living can safely provide, we help the family plan the next step.
May we bring our own furniture?
Please do. Most residents bring a favorite chair, the family photographs and sometimes the piano bench.
