The nurse comes to you, and she stays for the questions.

Skilled nursing and therapy visits at home after a hospital stay, a fall or a new diagnosis. Medicare-certified, locally owned, and based on Sixth Avenue since 2004.

This issue: coming home

The first week home is the hardest week.

New medications, a wound that needs dressing, stairs that were easy a month ago. Our nurses and therapists see patients in Stillwater, Cushing, Perkins and Guthrie, and the first visit usually happens within two days of the referral.

We are small enough that the nurse who opens your case is the one who keeps it. She knows the dog's name, which chair Dad likes and when he takes his pills. Families tell us that is what made the difference.

Letters to the editor

Mom came home from the hospital in Tulsa on a Friday. Their nurse was at her kitchen table Saturday morning, going through every pill bottle with her.
Dana K.Daughter of a patient, Cushing
The therapist had me climbing my own back steps by the third week. I didn't think I'd see the garden again this year.
