Good to know

Questions, answered

What happens during a hurricane?

We have a written evacuation plan, contracted buses and a partner campus inland. Residents in every level of care are moved together with their caregivers and medications, and families are called before the first bus leaves.

What is an entrance fee, and is it refundable?

An entrance fee is a one-time payment at move-in that helps keep monthly fees steadier if you later need more care. Depending on the plan you choose, part of it may be refundable to you or your estate. We'll put every option in writing.

Does Medicare cover assisted living or memory care?

No. Medicare doesn't pay for assisted living, memory care or long-term custodial care. Original Medicare Part A may cover short-term skilled nursing and rehab after a qualifying inpatient hospital stay.

Do you accept Medicaid?

Yes, in our skilled nursing center. Ask our business office about eligibility and the Texas application process.

Can I bring my boat?

Cottage residents may keep a small boat on a trailer in our covered storage lot, and the Fulton harbor is five minutes away.

Sunrise on the pier is free. Come see it.

Call or text Marisol, or book a tour online. Morning tours catch the best light on the bay.
