Two friends in straw hats sharing a picnic in the tall golden grass

Owasso · Bixby · Claremore, Oklahoma

The golden years, taken literally.

Three not-for-profit life plan communities across Green Country, each with cottages, apartments and every level of care, and one promise behind all three.

  • 1983first campus opened in Owasso
  • 3campuses across Green Country
  • 640residents across every level of care

Chapter one

Three campuses. One way of caring.

Goldenrod Hill began in 1983 on a goldenrod-covered rise east of Owasso, when three Tulsa County congregations decided their parents deserved somewhere to grow old that felt like the country they'd farmed. Bixby followed in 1997, along the Arkansas River gardens. Claremore joined in 2011, a few blocks from the Will Rogers Memorial.

Every campus has cottages and apartments, assisted living, memory care and a skilled nursing center. Residents can move between campuses to be near family, and their contract goes with them. And in more than forty years, no resident has ever been asked to leave because their money ran out.
