What's the difference between a life care and a fee-for-service contract?
A life care contract has a higher entrance fee, and in exchange your monthly fee stays largely the same if you move to assisted living, memory care or skilled nursing. A fee-for-service contract has a lower entrance fee, and you pay current rates for higher levels of care if you need them.
Is any of the entrance fee refundable?
Depending on the plan you choose, part of the entrance fee may be refundable to you or your estate. Your residency agreement spells out exactly how much and when.
Does Medicare cover any of this?
Medicare doesn't cover independent living, assisted living or long-term custodial care. Original Medicare Part A can cover short-term skilled nursing and rehab in our Health Center after a qualifying inpatient hospital stay.
Can I move straight into assisted living or memory care?
Yes, when a suite is available. Current residents have priority.
Can I bring my car?
Yes. Each residence includes a covered parking space, and valet is available daily.
