New Braunfels, Texas

Retirement with the grill still lit.

Cottages, apartments and every level of care on forty acres of live oaks, with a beer garden, a pickleball court and a calendar that fills up faster than yours does now.

Willkommen

A town that knows how to throw a party knows how to grow old well.

New Braunfels has been celebrating something since 1845: sausage, polka, the river, the first cool front of fall. Kessler Ridge fits right in. Our residents run a Friday beer garden, a Tuesday pickleball ladder and a Wurstfest float that has won the seniors' division four years running.

Under all the fun is a promise. When you move into a cottage or apartment, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing are already here, with residents first in line. Your kids can stop worrying. You can get back to the grill.

Overheard at the beer garden

I came for the pickleball. I stayed for the pickleball. Also my wife likes the pool.
Gene K.Resident since 2020
Dad cooked every Fourth of July of my life. Now he cooks it for two hundred people at Kessler Ridge and he's never been happier.
Laura M.Daughter of a resident
Mom moved to the Courtyard after her diagnosis. She still bakes kolaches every Thursday with the staff. She doesn't remember my name some days, but she remembers that.
Ricardo S.Son of a resident
My knee replacement rehab was in the Health Center, and my bridge partners came to visit every afternoon. Nobody wanted me missing Tuesday.
Betty L.Resident since 2017
We read the contract three times. They answered every question in writing. That's why we signed.
Jim and Carol W.Residents since 2022
I didn't want to retire somewhere quiet. Good news: this isn't it.
Delia R.Resident since 2021
