Good to know

Questions, answered

How fast can you start?

Most first visits happen within 24 hours of the referral, seven days a week. If the hospital sends it by noon, we can often see you the same evening.

Who pays for home health?

Medicare covers home health in full for patients who are homebound and need part-time skilled nursing or therapy under a doctor's plan of care. Most Medicare Advantage plans, Arkansas Medicaid and many employer plans also cover it.

What does homebound mean?

Leaving home takes a considerable and taxing effort, or needs help, a device or a ride. Doctor visits, church and short outings are still allowed.

Do you have staff who speak Spanish or Marshallese?

Yes. Several nurses, therapists and office staff are bilingual, and we use certified interpreters for any other language.

Can I choose Little Sugar?

Yes. Medicare patients may choose any certified agency that serves their area. Tell your doctor or the hospital case manager.

Being discharged? Call before you leave.

Tell the case manager you want Little Sugar. We'll take it from there, and we'll see you tomorrow.
