Good to know

Questions, answered

What is a residential care home in Arkansas?

Arkansas licenses residential care facilities to provide room, meals, supervision and help with daily activities like bathing, dressing and medications. They are not nursing homes, so a resident who needs round-the-clock skilled nursing would need a different setting.

How do families pay?

Most residents pay privately or with long-term care insurance. Veterans and surviving spouses may qualify for VA Aid and Attendance. Ask our office and we will help you sort out what may apply to your family.

Can you care for someone with memory loss?

We care for residents with mild to moderate memory loss who are safe in a home setting. If someone needs a secured memory care unit, we will tell you honestly and help you find one.

Can residents bring furniture?

Please do. A favorite chair, quilts and photographs make a room feel like home. We provide a bed and dresser if needed.

What happens if care needs grow?

Many residents stay with us through the end of life with hospice visiting. If someone needs more care than we can safely give, Annette helps the family plan the next step.
