A grown daughter and her mother holding hands and laughing together in the garden

Hospice · El Dorado & South Arkansas

Held close, at home, for every last good day.

Hospice nurses, aides, chaplains and social workers who come to your home across four counties of the South Arkansas pines, so the people you love are cared for gently, where they belong.

Our heart

Gentle hands, honest words, and someone who stays.

Mayhaw trees bloom white and pink in the bottomlands every February, before anything else dares. Our founders named us for them: something tender that shows up when the season is hardest.

That's still how we work. We manage pain and breathlessness with real clinical skill, explain what's happening in words families can hold onto, and sit down long enough to listen. Then we come back tomorrow, and the next day, and at three in the morning if that's when you need us.

Thirty-two springs of mayhaw blossoms

Admissions

When you call

Here's what happens next.

  • A nurse calls you back within the hour
  • A kitchen-table visit, usually the same or next day
  • We explain coverage and answer every question
  • If you decide to start, equipment and the first nurse visit usually follow within a day
  • One phone number for everything, any hour

We believe tenderness is a clinical skill. We believe a mother's hand in her daughter's is medicine too. We believe the end of a life can still hold laughter, hymns, Sunday dinners and good mornings. And we believe no family in South Arkansas should walk this road without someone beside them.
