Good to know
Questions, answered
How is assisted living paid for?
Most residents pay privately or with long-term care insurance. Medicare does not cover room and board in assisted living, though it can cover some therapy ordered by a doctor. Arkansas has a Medicaid program that helps some residents in licensed assisted living; ask our office whether you might qualify.
Do I have to swim?
Not at all. Plenty of residents never get in the water. The pool is there for those who want it, with a lift chair and staff on deck during classes.
Can my husband and I live together if only one of us needs care?
Yes. Couples share a one-bedroom apartment, and each spouse has their own care level.
What if needs change later?
Our nurse updates the care plan with you. If needs grow beyond what assisted living can provide, we help you plan the next step and stay in touch through it.
Are pets welcome?
Cats and small dogs are welcome with a short pet agreement. There's a fenced dog run by the trailhead.
