Good to know

Questions, answered

Who pays for home health?

Medicare covers home health in full for patients who are homebound and need part-time skilled nursing or therapy under a doctor's plan of care. Most Medicare Advantage plans and SoonerCare also cover it.

Can therapy happen outside?

Yes, when your goals are outside. Our therapists practice on porch steps, garden rows and gravel drives when that's where you need to be safe.

Do you work with Creek Nation health services?

Yes. With your permission, we coordinate with tribal health services and your clinic so care fits together.

What does homebound mean?

Leaving home takes considerable and taxing effort, or needs help, a device or a ride. Church, the doctor and the barber are still allowed.

What areas do you serve?

Creek, west Tulsa, Okmulgee and Pawnee counties, including Sapulpa, Sand Springs, Kellyville, Bristow, Mounds, Depew and Cleveland.

What do you want to get back to? Let's start there.

Call the office, or ask your doctor or hospital case manager to send the referral to Sahoma Home Health.
