A licensed residential care home a short drive from Travertine Creek. Help with the daily things, good food, and plenty of reasons to get out of the chair.

Life with a little splash
Marcus Colbert grew up in Sulphur, swimming at Little Niagara every summer. After twenty years as a physical therapy assistant in Ardmore and Ada, he came home and opened Travertine House in a big two-story foursquare on Muskogee Avenue. His idea was simple: keep people moving, keep them laughing and keep them close to the places they love.
So on Tuesday mornings we drive out to the national recreation area to feed the ducks and watch the water. On Thursdays it is chair exercise in the sunroom with Marcus counting off reps like a coach. Biscuit and Pepper, our two rescue dogs, supervise everything.

Sample family reviews
Mom had not left her house in a year. Her second week at Travertine House she sent me a photo of herself feeding ducks at the creek.
Marcus treats chair exercise like the state playoffs. Dad complains every Thursday and walks better every month.
My aunt says Pepper is the only one in the house who listens to her. Pepper sleeps on her feet every afternoon.
They answered the phone at two in the morning when I was worried, and the caregiver walked down the hall to check while I waited.
We are Chickasaw and it mattered to us that Grandma could keep going to her church and her community dinners. They drive her every time.
