Good to know

Questions, answered

What does a residential care home do?

In Oklahoma, residential care homes are licensed by the State Department of Health to provide room, board and help with daily living, like bathing, dressing and medications, in a home setting. We are not a nursing home and do not provide round-the-clock skilled nursing.

How do families pay?

Most of our residents pay privately, sometimes with help from long-term care insurance. Veterans and surviving spouses may qualify for VA Aid and Attendance. Ask our office and we will help you sort out what may apply.

Can my dad bring his dog?

Often, yes. A calm, house-trained pet who gets along with Biscuit and Pepper is welcome. We will talk through care and vet records before move-in.

What if a resident needs more care later?

Many needs can be met here with home health or hospice visiting. If someone needs more nursing than we can safely give, we help the family plan the next step.

Bring your swimsuit. Kidding. Mostly.

Tours run about forty minutes and always end with lemonade on the porch. Call or text Marcus to set one up.
