Good to know

Questions, answered

Does Medicare cover rehab at Wadley Avenue?

Original Medicare Part A covers skilled nursing and rehab for up to 100 days per benefit period after a qualifying inpatient hospital stay, if you need daily skilled care. Days 1 to 20 are covered in full; from day 21 there's a daily coinsurance. Medicare Advantage plans set their own rules, and we'll check yours before you arrive.

Is every room private?

Every short-stay rehab patient has a private suite at no extra charge. Long-term residents can choose a private or companion room.

How soon can I be admitted?

Usually the same day. Ask your hospital case manager to send a referral, or call admissions; we take calls seven days a week.

Can I choose you over the facility the hospital suggests?

Yes. You have the right to choose your post-hospital care provider.

What do the weekly scores measure?

Standard measures your therapists already track, like walking distance, balance, transfers and self-care. We post them so you and your family can see progress, week by week.

Got a surgery date? Get a plan.

Call admissions seven days a week, or have your surgeon's office send a referral.
