Nursing & rehab · Duncan, Oklahoma

Bud still runs the grill every Fourth.

A 110-bed nursing and rehab center in north Duncan: therapy six days a week, nurses who stay and a calendar that never lets a holiday slip by.

Who we are

Good nursing, a full calendar and a lot of folks who know your name.

Duncan is an oil-field and ranch town, and the people who live at Whittington built it: roughnecks and Halliburton engineers, schoolteachers, ranchers and the women who ran the church kitchens. They don't want to sit in a hallway. They want something to do, someone to talk to and a reason to put on a good shirt.

So we keep the calendar full. The Fourth of July cookout, the Chisholm Trail parade, the stock show, the fish fry, Christmas caroling by the high school choir. Underneath all of it is serious nursing: RNs and LPNs on every hall, a wound nurse, an IV team, a nurse practitioner on site and therapists who get people home. We do both, every day, because people deserve both.
