Why families choose us

Help in the morning. Company in the evening.

Most people move to Wildhorse Creek because mornings got hard: the shower, the pill organizer, the stairs. We handle those with a care plan our nurse writes with you, and we keep the same caregivers on the same hall so nobody has to explain themselves twice.

What they stay for is the evenings. Supper outside under the string lights, the domino table that never quite empties, grandkids who stop by after ball practice. Gail has run the place since it opened, and she still eats supper with residents three nights a week.

Sample family reviews

Stephens County families

Daddy farmed outside Marlow his whole life and hated being shut in. The patio suppers did it. He sits out there till dark and tells the young aides how to fix things.
Brenda K.Daughter of a resident
The rate sheet Gail gave us at the first visit is the same one we're paying two years later, plus the one increase she warned us about.
Ray M.Son of a resident
I moved in after my wife passed. I didn't want company. Now I run the domino table and I'm mad when somebody's late.

Good to know

Questions, answered

Does Medicare pay for assisted living?

No. Medicare does not cover room and board in assisted living. Most families pay privately or with long-term care insurance. Some Oklahomans qualify for help through the state's Medicaid ADvantage waiver; our office can walk you through it.

What if Mom's needs change?

Our nurse reviews every care plan at least twice a year and any time something changes. If needs grow beyond what assisted living can safely provide, we help you plan the next step.

Can residents keep a car?

Yes, if they still drive safely. There is resident parking by the east wing.

Are pets allowed?

Cats and small dogs are welcome with a short pet agreement. Our resident corgi lives in the front office.
