Good to know

Questions, answered

Does Medicare pay for rehab at Belle Point?

Original Medicare Part A can cover skilled nursing and rehab after a qualifying inpatient hospital stay of at least three days, up to 100 days per benefit period. Days 1 through 20 are covered in full; after that a daily coinsurance applies. Medicare Advantage plans set their own rules, and we check yours before you arrive.

Do you accept Arkansas Medicaid?

Yes, for long-term nursing care. Our social worker and business office help families gather documents and file the application, and can explain how the spend-down works.

Can we reserve a room before a planned surgery?

Yes. Call admissions two or three weeks ahead with your surgery date. We'll verify coverage and work with the hospital's discharge planner on the transfer.

What should a rehab patient pack?

Loose, comfortable clothes you can move in, sturdy shoes with closed backs, glasses, hearing aids, a phone charger and a list of your medications. We handle laundry.

When can family visit?

Any time, day or night. After nine we ask visitors to use the side entrance and keep voices low on the halls.

Is there a private room?

We have twenty-two private rooms. Availability changes week to week, so ask admissions what's open when you call.

Planning a surgery? Call us first.

We can verify Medicare or your Advantage plan, reserve a short-stay suite and coordinate with the hospital's discharge planner before you go in.
