Ten residents in each house, the same caregivers every day, and a trail out the back door that runs along Little Sugar Creek.
Why three homes
Meredith Oyelaran-Shaw spent fifteen years as a geriatric nurse practitioner in northwest Arkansas. She watched families choose between big buildings that felt impersonal and tiny homes that could not cover a sick call. In 2011 she opened Creekside House, the first of three homes on neighboring lots along Little Sugar Creek. Willow House followed in 2015 and Bluestem House in 2019.
Each home has its own kitchen, its own porch and its own steady team of caregivers. Behind them, the three share a nurse practitioner, a registered nurse, a cook who bakes for all three and a float team that knows every resident. Residents walk the creek trail, visit each other's porches and gather for supper at one long table on Sundays.

What sets us apart

Private and unhurried, on each resident's own schedule.
Included
Meredith sees every resident regularly and coordinates with their doctors.
Included
Breakfast to order, a hot lunch and supper, with bread baked daily for all three.
Included
We could have built one big building. We built three houses instead, because small is how people know each other. Ten residents to a home, one kitchen, one porch, one team that stays. The rest of Bentonville grew up around us. We stayed the same size on purpose.

Rooms & suites
Every room is private. Each home has its own character, and families often choose the house before the room.

In the original house, facing the trees along the creek.

A larger room with a walk-in shower and a sitting corner.

Bright and modern, with big windows on the garden beds.

A roll-in shower and room for a wheelchair to turn.

Our newest home, with wood floors and a window seat.

Two connected rooms with a shared bath and a sitting area.
