Good to know

Questions, answered

What is a residential care facility in Arkansas?

Arkansas licenses residential care facilities to provide room, meals, supervision and help with daily activities like bathing, dressing and medications. They are not nursing homes, so a resident who needs round-the-clock skilled nursing would need a different setting.

Why three homes instead of one building?

Small homes let caregivers truly know each resident. Sharing a nurse practitioner, a nurse and a float team across three homes means we are never short-handed.

Can my mother choose which home?

Yes. Each house has its own feel. We will introduce you to all three, and residents can move between homes later if another suits them better.

How do families pay?

Most residents pay privately or with long-term care insurance. Veterans and surviving spouses may qualify for VA Aid and Attendance. June will walk you through what may apply.

What happens if care needs grow?

Many residents stay with us through the end of life with hospice visiting. If someone needs more care than we can safely give, Meredith helps the family plan the next step.
