Our story

A year at Cypress Hall

A couple posing arm in arm by the spring flower beds
A resident in a straw hat smiling in the April sun
A resident tipping her straw hat against the brick wall
A resident shelling peas on the garden bench
Seedlings going into the raised beds
Chapter 01

Spring

We plant in March: tomatoes, zinnias and a bed of bluebonnets by the gate. In April the wildflower drives begin.

Chapter 02

Summer

Peaches from Fredericksburg, porch evenings, fiddle music and fireflies over the creek.

Chapter 03

Fall

Pecans along Cypress Creek, pumpkins on the season table and a harvest supper for every family.

Chapter 04

Winter

A wood fire in the hearth room, quilts on every chair and cocoa in the afternoon.

Chapter 05
