Good to know

Questions families ask

We live in Arkansas but Mom's doctor is in Texas. Is that a problem?

No. We are licensed in both states and coordinate with doctors on either side of State Line.

When should we call hospice?

When a doctor expects the illness to run its course in about six months or less, or when treatment isn't helping anymore. Calling to ask questions commits you to nothing.

Does Medicare pay for hospice?

Yes. The Medicare hospice benefit covers the care team, medicines, equipment and supplies for the hospice diagnosis, usually with nothing owed.

Can he go back to the hospital?

Hospice is a choice. Patients can leave hospice at any time and return to regular treatment, and come back later.

Do you care for people in nursing homes?

Yes. We visit patients in nursing homes and assisted living across the Four States area, alongside the staff there.

Call tonight. We're up.

A hospice nurse answers every hour of every day. Ask anything; nothing is decided until you say so.
