What kind of care does Lilac Hill provide?
We are a residential care home licensed by the Oklahoma State Department of Health. We provide help with daily living, like bathing, dressing, meals and medications, in a home setting with caregivers awake around the clock. We do not provide round-the-clock skilled nursing.
Do you care for people with memory loss?
We care for residents with mild to moderate memory loss who are safe in an open home setting, including those who struggle in the evening. If someone needs a secured memory care unit, we will tell you honestly.
How do families pay?
Most residents pay privately or with long-term care insurance. Veterans and surviving spouses may qualify for VA Aid and Attendance. Ask our office and we will walk you through what may apply.
Is supper really candlelit every night?
Every night. We use flameless candles near anyone who prefers them, and real ones on the center tables.
Can family join for supper?
Yes, any evening. Reserve by noon so the kitchen can set your place.
What happens if care needs grow?
Many needs can be met here with home health or hospice visiting. If someone needs more nursing than we can safely give, Vivian helps the family plan the next step.
