Assisted living · Downtown Conway, Arkansas
Sixty-four apartments in a restored 1925 brick building on Main Street. Coffee shop on the corner, library across the street, caregivers down the hall around the clock.
Assisted living on Main Street
Most assisted living gets built on a cheap lot by the highway. Then everyone wonders why residents feel cut off. We did the opposite: we bought the old Wingfield Dry Goods building on Main, kept the brick, the tin ceilings and the big windows, and put sixty-four apartments inside.
Residents walk to the farmers market on Saturday, the library on Tuesday and the coffee shop every day. When they need help with a shower, a medication or a bad night, it's down the hall.

I live in Fayetteville. Lauren set up the movers, the furniture and the internet before I got there. I just showed up and hugged my mom.
