Apartments and cottages for people 62 and up who still want lectures, ballgames, book club and a decent cup of coffee, all within ten minutes of Front Street.
Hello from Pinecrest Lane
Conway is a town that never quite stops going to school. There's a lecture, a recital or a ballgame somewhere most nights of the week, and our residents go to a surprising number of them. A good many are retired professors, coaches and music teachers who never lost the habit.
Marigold Place gives them a home base for all of it: a sunny apartment or a garden cottage, dinner in the Petal Room, a van that knows every campus parking lot and a nurse on site for wellness checks. When the marigolds come up along the front walk every May, residents start a betting pool on which bed blooms first.

Mom taught piano for forty years. Bernice had her playing for the porch choir the first week. She calls me now to tell me about rehearsals.
I was afraid I'd be bored. I've been to more ballgames in two years here than in the twenty before.
The cottage gave Dad a patio and a garden bed. That was the whole sale. He grows more tomatoes than the kitchen can use.
Rosa noticed my blood pressure creeping up before my doctor did. She called him with me and we got it sorted out in a week.
We toured four places. This was the only one where residents stopped us in the hall to tell us what they liked.
Arturo made my grandmother's chess pie recipe for her ninetieth birthday. She cried. So did I.

Our team

Executive Director
Danielle grew up in Conway, left for twenty years of hotel management in Little Rock and Dallas, and came home to run Marigold Place in 2018. She still answers the front-desk phone when it rings three times.

Wellness Nurse
Rosa runs Tuesday blood-pressure clinic, keeps the flu shots organized every fall and knows every resident's coffee order.

Life Enrichment Director
A retired middle-school choir teacher, Bernice plans the calendar, drives the van on game nights and leads the porch choir every Friday at five.

Executive Chef
Arturo cooked in Hot Springs restaurants for fifteen years. His Sunday pot roast has a waiting list, and he takes requests on a whiteboard outside the kitchen.
For families
Moving a parent is a lot. Here's how we make it a little lighter.
One person handles keys, cable, mail forwarding and where the piano goes.
We keep a list of local movers and estate-sale companies who work with seniors every week.
Book the private dining room any night; just give the kitchen a day's notice.
Our monthly letter goes out by email and paper, with photos from the month's outings.
