Good to know

Questions, answered

What is a life plan community?

A campus with independent living plus assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing, so residents can stay as their needs change. Residents have priority for every level of care.

What contracts do you offer?

A life care contract, with an entrance fee and monthly fees that stay steadier as needs change, and a monthly rental with no entrance fee.

Does Medicare pay for any of this?

Medicare doesn't cover independent living, assisted living or long-term custodial care. Original Medicare Part A can cover short-term skilled nursing and rehab after a qualifying inpatient hospital stay.

Do you accept Medicaid?

Yes, in our skilled nursing center. In Kansas, Medicaid is called KanCare, and our business office can help with the application.

What is the benevolence fund?

A donor-supported fund that helps residents who outlive their resources through no fault of their own. Ask our business office who qualifies.
