Five or six days a week, aimed at one thing: getting you home safely.

Speech and swallowing therapy

Wound care and IV antibiotics

Overseen by our RNs, with the wound doctor in on Tuesdays.

Home visit before discharge

A therapist drives out to your house and checks the steps, the bathroom and the rugs.

Short respite stays

A week of full care while the family takes a breather or brings in the wheat.

RNs and LPNs on duty around the clock

Long-term nursing care

Private and shared rooms, each with a window onto the yard or the river trees.

Medication management and diabetic care

Visits from the medical director and local doctors

Your own family doctor from town is welcome to keep seeing you here.

Hospice coordination

We work alongside the hospice your family chooses, so nobody has to move at the end.

Home-style meals and a Sunday pie table

Planned with a registered dietitian. Pie donated by three local churches in rotation.

Activities every day, chapel every Sunday

Pitch, bingo, crafts and a summer drive out to the lake.

Beauty shop and barber

Rides to appointments in town and Emporia
