A hospital nurse for twenty-five years, Corinne now runs the weekday wellness office and the Tuesday blood-pressure clinic.

Executive Chef
Marco cooked in Austin for a decade. He buys peaches from Fredericksburg, eggs from a farm near Holland and makes the bread every morning.

Studio and Life Enrichment Director
A ceramicist with an MFA from Texas State, Adaeze loads the kiln, runs the classes and talks residents out of throwing away their best work.

Residence Counselor
Terrence gives most of our tours. He'll show you the floor plans, the studio and the creek trail, and he'll tell you honestly whether we're a good fit.
Sample family reviews
I sold my studio in Austin thinking that part of my life was over. Now I have better light than I ever had and a kiln I don't have to clean.
Dad had never picked up a paintbrush in his life. He's on his fourth canvas of the creek and won't let any of us take one home.
It's the quiet I love. Mornings on the creek trail, a cup of coffee, and nobody asking me to join anything unless I want to.
Mom's cottage is two minutes from the studio and five from Main Street. She has more friends here than she had in thirty years in Killeen.
Chef Marco remembered that I can't have dairy after one conversation. I've been here three years and he hasn't forgotten once.
We toured six places. This was the only one where a resident stopped us in the hall to show us what she was working on.

Call Lupe or book a time online. Thursday is open studio, and the coffee is strong.
