Good to know

Questions, answered

What kind of care does a residential care home provide?

Help with the activities of daily life, like bathing, dressing, meals and medications, in a small home setting. Arkansas licenses and inspects homes like ours. We do not provide round-the-clock skilled nursing, so someone who needs that would be better served in a nursing home.

How do families usually pay?

Most residents pay privately, often with help from long-term care insurance. Veterans and surviving spouses may qualify for VA Aid and Attendance. Ask our office and we will walk you through the options that may apply.

Can my mother decorate her own room?

We hope she will. Her own bed, chairs, quilts and pictures make a room hers. We provide a bed and dresser if she would rather travel light.

Is there a waiting list?

With nine rooms, there sometimes is. Call early and we will be honest about timing.

Join us for tea at three.

Tours are best in the afternoon, when the house is at its most itself. Call or text Evangeline to set a time.
