Straight answers
Is this assisted living?
No. The Delano Lofts are independent apartments for people 55 and older. We don't provide personal or medical care, but licensed home care and home health agencies can visit you here, and we're happy to share a list.
Is there an entrance fee?
No. You sign a twelve-month lease and pay monthly rent, with a refundable deposit. That's the whole arrangement.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, dogs and cats up to 40 pounds, two pets per loft. There's a dog run behind the building and the river path is a short walk.
Does someone have to be 55 to live here?
At least one person in each loft must be 55 or older. A spouse or partner of any age can live with them.
