Our team

Executive Director
Caroline grew up in Afton and spent summers on this lake. She ran a hospital foundation in Tulsa before coming to Harbor Point in 2011, and she still answers her own phone.

Director of Health Services
Rosa oversees nursing at The Lighthouse and the wellness clinic. Families know her as the nurse who calls back the same day, every time.

Medical Director
An internist in Grove for twenty-five years, Dr. Haddad rounds on campus Tuesdays and Fridays and takes our nurses' calls on weekends.

Executive Chef
Maribel runs the kitchen and the west deck grill. Her Friday catfish has its own fan club, and her pie case is empty by two most days.

Assisted Living Nurse Manager
Paula has worked nights, days and holidays at The Lighthouse since it opened in 2006. She trains every new caregiver on the hall herself.

Life Enrichment Director
Nia books the pontoon cruises, the college lectures and the Friday bands. She also drives the van to Joplin when somebody needs new shoes.

Chaplain
Pastor Bell leads Sunday chapel on the lawn in good weather and in the library when it isn't, and visits anyone who asks.

Move Coordinator
Lauren gives most of our tours. She has helped more than four hundred families move, and she knows which cottages get the best sunsets.

Business Office Manager
Danielle explains every line of every bill and helps families sort out long-term care insurance and VA claims.

Wellness Nurse
Jamal runs the Tuesday wellness clinic and the flu shot days, and he leads the walking club on the shore trail.

Harbor Master and Facilities Director
Gary keeps the docks, the boats and the buildings in shape. He captains the Thursday sunset cruise and knows where the crappie are biting.

Director of Sister Communities
Thomas oversees our Tenkiller, Fort Gibson and Eufaula communities and makes sure every Harbor Point runs the same way: carefully and kindly.
Sample family reviews
Dad wanted a boat slip more than a second bedroom. He got both, and he's out on the water four mornings a week at eighty-three.
We spent thirty summers renting cabins on Grand Lake. Now we just live here, and somebody else fixes the dock.
When Mom needed help with her pills and her showers, she moved two hundred yards to The Lighthouse. Same coffee club, same chaplain, same view of the lake.
Rosa called me before the doctor did. That's the kind of place this is.
I came for a two-week respite stay after my knee. I signed a lease on day nine.
My grandkids think Grandpa lives at summer camp. Honestly, they aren't wrong.
Our kids moved to Tahlequah, so we transferred to the Tenkiller community. Nobody made us start over. They had our care notes and our favorite table ready.
The sunset cruise is the best part of my week. Gary tells the same jokes every time and we laugh every time.
Danielle helped us understand the VA pension and long-term care policy line by line. No surprises on the bill, ever.
I was a Navy man. I didn't expect to find a crew again at ninety. I did.
Mom's book club picked a six-hundred-page novel and finished it in a month. I've been reading the same paperback since June.
Every Friday in summer there's music on the deck and the whole point turns up. It feels like the lake towns we grew up in.

Walk the docks at six, eat supper on the west deck and see why people move here for the water and stay for each other. Call or text Lauren to save a seat.
