Good to know

Things families ask first

Is the lake safe for residents?

Yes. The dock has rails on both sides and a level ramp, the boathouse keeps life jackets in every size, and residents who need help walking are escorted. The pontoon runs only with our licensed captain and a caregiver aboard.

What does assisted living cost here?

Rent depends on the apartment, and personal care is added in one of four levels after our nurse's visit. We give every family a written estimate at the first tour.

Does Medicare or Medicaid pay?

Medicare does not pay for assisted living. Most families pay privately, sometimes with long-term care insurance or VA Aid & Attendance. In Oklahoma, the Medicaid ADvantage waiver may help with care costs for people who qualify; our business office can tell you more.

Can residents keep their cars, or their boats?

Cars, yes, if they still drive safely. Boats, no, but residents are welcome on the pontoon, and family can tie up at our dock for a visit.

What happens when someone needs more care?

Most changes are handled here by adjusting the care level or adding home health or hospice. If someone needs round-the-clock skilled nursing, we'll help the family find the right place nearby.

Are pets allowed?

Small dogs and cats are welcome when the resident can care for them, with a little help. Our porch dog, Skipper, will want to meet them.

Come sit on the dock with us.

Call or text Gail to set up a visit. We'll put the coffee on and save you a rocking chair on the porch.
