Good to know

Questions

When should we call hospice?

When a doctor expects the illness to run its course in about six months or less, or when treatment is no longer helping. A call commits you to nothing.

Does Medicare pay for hospice?

Yes. The Medicare hospice benefit covers the care team, medicines, equipment and supplies for the hospice diagnosis, usually with nothing owed.

Why are you small?

Smaller caseloads mean longer visits and faster call-backs. We chose that on purpose.

Can she keep her own doctor?

Yes. Her doctor can stay involved and work with our medical director.

What if he gets better?

Some patients do. He can leave hospice at any time and return later if needed.

Do you serve Granbury and Stephenville?

Yes, along with Glen Rose, Walnut Springs and the countryside across four counties.

When you're ready, we're here.

Call or text with any question. A hospice nurse will answer, and nothing is decided until you're ready.
