Hospice · Glen Rose & the Brazos hill country
Hospice nurses, aides, chaplains and social workers serving four counties along the Paluxy and the Brazos. Unhurried visits, honest answers and a nurse who picks up at any hour.
Our way
We are a deliberately small hospice. Each nurse cares for fewer patients than the industry norm, so visits are unhurried and phone calls are returned within minutes, not hours. Families get to know a handful of faces, not a rotating cast.
The Paluxy runs clear over limestone through our town, past dinosaur tracks a hundred million years old. It's a good reminder that some things don't need to be rushed. Neither does this.

Sample family reviews
The nurse never once looked at her watch. In a year of rushed doctor visits, that was everything.
Helen played the harp for Mother on her last afternoon. The room was so peaceful.
Tom called back in four minutes at 2 a.m. and was at our door in thirty.
We saw the same three faces every week. By the end they felt like family.
They helped us get Dad down to the river one more time. He sat with his feet in the water and smiled.
Laura made the paperwork disappear. I got to just be with my mother.
Rev. Price sat with us through the night. He didn't say much. He didn't need to.
Jenny bathed Mom like she was the most precious person on earth. To Jenny, she was.
Dr. Lindqvist explained everything simply and honestly. We were never surprised.
The river walk group got me out of the house when I couldn't get myself out.
Maya rubbed my hands while she rubbed Dad's. I hadn't realized how tired I was.

13 monthsWhere we care
The same team and the same Medicare benefit, in any setting.

Most patients stay in their own bed. We bring everything needed.

Ranch roads and river crossings are part of the job.

Many retirees around Lake Granbury choose to stay by the water. So do we.

We care for patients in a son's or daughter's home and teach the household.

We add hospice nursing, aides and support to the care in place.

We work alongside nursing home staff on comfort. Room and board is billed separately.

We believe the last season of a life deserves quiet. Fewer alarms and hallways. More mornings by the window, more afternoons on the porch, more time with the people who matter. We believe in doing a few things very well: easing pain, telling the truth gently, and coming when we're called.
