What is adult day health?

A licensed daytime program with nursing, therapy, meals and activities for adults who live at home but shouldn't be alone all day.

Why are you open 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.?

Because Midland works shifts. We set our hours so oil-field, hospital and plant families can drop off before work and pick up after.

Can Dad come only during my hitch?

Yes. Tell us your rotation and we'll schedule his days around it. Many families use us more heavily during hitches.

Who is a good fit?

Adults living with dementia, recovering from a stroke or surgery, managing diabetes, heart failure or COPD, or isolated at home. A nurse assesses every new member.

How do families pay?

Privately by the day or half day, or through VA benefits, long-term care insurance and Texas Medicaid programs for those who qualify. Medicare generally does not cover adult day.

What area do the vans cover?

Midland County, including Greenwood and the ranches out toward Stanton. Ask about Odessa pickups.

Do you serve supper?

Yes. Members who stay late get breakfast, lunch and supper.

Is there a nurse there all day?

Three nurses work every shift, from opening to closing.

Yes, with a doctor's order. Our therapists are on site Monday through Friday.

What about memory care?

Members living with dementia spend part of the day in a smaller room with its own staff, and join the floor for meals and music.

Do you have bilingual staff?

Yes, on every shift.

Can members use the shop tools?

Do you close for weather?

Only for ice that closes Midland ISD. We call every family by 4:30 a.m.

Can we drop in?

Any time we're open.

Can we try a day first?

Doors open at 5:30. Coffee's already on.
