Our story
A physical therapist, a stopwatch and a simple idea: measure recovery like you mean it.
Our story

In 2000 Andre Whitfield was a hospital physical therapist frustrated that nobody could tell families how recovery was going. He started timing every patient's walk and writing the number on the wall.
He opened the first Polecat Creek campus off Route 66 in 2001, with 40 suites and a gym in the middle. Every patient got a stopwatch test on day one.
In 2006 we started sending families a one-page report every week. Readmissions dropped, and hospitals started calling.
We opened Bristow in 2012 and Okmulgee in 2017, so patients from Creek and Okmulgee counties could recover closer to home.
In 2020 we opened a dedicated stroke hall in Sapulpa, with its own therapists and speech pathologists.
148 suites across three campuses, seven-day therapy, and most patients home in about fifteen days, with the numbers to prove it.
