Monthly feeSenior living on Beaver Lake · Rogers, Arkansas
Apartments and cottages on twenty-six wooded acres above the Prairie Creek arm of Beaver Lake, fifteen minutes from downtown Rogers.

Welcome to the Landing
Prairie Creek Landing opened in 2008 on a piece of hillside an old dairy family had been fishing from for three generations. They sold it on one condition: keep the dock. We kept the dock, added a boathouse and a pontoon boat, and built the apartments so nearly every one of them looks at the water.
People move here for the view and stay for the company. On any given morning you'll find a coffee group on the boathouse porch, two retired engineers arguing about the best crappie bait and somebody's grandkids learning to cast off the end of the pier. We handle the meals, the housekeeping and the upkeep. The lake handles the rest.

Twenty covered slips. Ask about the waiting list.
Monthly fee
Four trips a week from April through October, with sunset runs on Fridays.
Included
Heated to 88 degrees. Classes at nine and four, open swim in between.
IncludedRooms & suites
Every home has a full kitchen, a walk-in shower and a balcony or porch. Most of them face the water.

Bright and simple, with a balcony over the water and a bedroom that wakes up with the sun.

A real living room with a fireplace, a guest room for the grandkids and a view down the cove.

A cottage on the bluff with a screened porch, a carport and a footpath down to the dock.

A cozy, efficient home near the Boathouse, popular with people who'd rather be out than in.
Sample family reviews
Dad sold his bass boat when he turned eighty and was miserable about it. Here he rides the pontoon twice a week and tells Rafael how to run it.
We looked at six places in Benton County. This was the only one where a resident stopped us on the trail to say hello and then gave us a tour herself.
Mom swims every morning in the warm pool and walks the lake loop every afternoon. Her doctor asked what changed.
When I needed help after my hip, they added a few services and I never had to leave my apartment. My view didn't change one bit.
I've lived in big cities and fancy places. Nothing beats coffee on the boathouse porch with the fog lifting off the water.
The grandkids beg to visit. Fishing off the pier, the paddleboats, the cookies at the front desk. I'm not sure they come to see me.
Lucía measured Mom's china cabinet and found the one cottage wall it fit on. Small thing. Huge thing.
The Friday fish fry is the best meal in Rogers and I will not be taking questions.
