Paying for care

Our business office walks every family through coverage before move-in. Here are the most common ways care is paid for.

Private pay

Most families pay monthly. Your written estimate lists every fee.

Long-term care insurance

Many policies cover assisted living and memory care. We help with claim paperwork.

VA Aid & Attendance

Eligible veterans and surviving spouses may receive a monthly pension toward care.

Medicaid waiver

Some states help pay for assisted living through Medicaid waiver programs. Ask us about yours.

Good to know

Questions, answered

What kind of care does Primrose Hall provide?

We are a residential care home licensed by the Oklahoma State Department of Health. We help with daily living, like bathing, dressing, meals and medications, with caregivers awake around the clock. We do not provide round-the-clock skilled nursing.

How do families pay?

Most residents pay privately or with long-term care insurance. Veterans and surviving spouses may qualify for VA Aid and Attendance. Our move-in concierge will walk you through what may apply.

Is there an elevator?

Yes. The second-floor suites are reached by elevator, and the main floor has no steps from the front porch to the parlor.

Can my mother bring her own furniture?

Please. A favorite chair, quilts and photographs make a suite feel like home. We provide furniture for anyone who would like it.

Can residents keep their own doctors?

Yes. We drive residents to their own doctors and share notes. A visiting physician also sees residents here monthly.

What happens if care needs grow?

Many residents stay with us through the end of life with hospice visiting. If someone needs more care than we can safely give, Delphine helps the family plan the next step.

Come for tea and the latest news.

Tours end in the parlor at three o'clock whenever we can manage it. Call Delphine, or book a time below.
