Editor's letter

A house where every day has something worth telling.

Delphine Harjo-Mays grew up two streets over, in a house where her grandmother kept roses and served tea to anyone who stopped by. After twenty years as a nurse in Tulsa, she came home in 2009 and bought the big brick house on 7th Street that she had admired since she was a girl.

Primrose Hall has sixteen suites, a parlor full of sunlight, a garden of old roses and a team that has, by now, heard most of the town's best stories. We help with whatever the day calls for, from a shower to a medication to a ride to church. And we make sure there is always a reason to come downstairs.

We think getting older should still come with good news. A new friend at tea. A rose that finally bloomed. A granddaughter on the porch. Our job is to take care of the hard parts of the day so there is more room for the good ones.
