Marisol Avery, CALA
Executive Director
Marisol grew up in the first Bellwether, doing homework at the nurses' station while her parents ran the building. She now leads all three homes and still deadheads the roses on Saturdays.

Our people
Our leadership team works across all three homes, and every home has its own nurse, cook and caregivers who stay for years.
Our team

Executive Director
Marisol grew up in the first Bellwether, doing homework at the nurses' station while her parents ran the building. She now leads all three homes and still deadheads the roses on Saturdays.

Director of Nursing
Joan spent twenty years as a hospital nurse in Tulsa before joining us. She writes every care plan, trains every nurse, and calls families herself when something changes.

Wellness Nurse, Broken Arrow
Adaeze does the morning rounds, the blood pressures and the flu clinic, and keeps a pocketful of peppermints for anyone who asks.

Medical Director
Dr. Haddad leads the house-call practice that visits each home twice a month, and consults on every new admission's medication list.

Culinary Director
Rosa trained in restaurant kitchens and plans the menus for all three homes. Her lemon chess pie has caused more than one resident to move in early.

Life Enrichment Director
Celeste runs the garden club, the watercolor class and the Philbrook outings. She believes everyone has one more hobby in them, and she is usually right.

Admissions Director
Priya gives most of our tours and walks families through every number. She will also tell you honestly if another kind of care would serve your mother better.

Social Worker & Memory Care Lead
Danielle leads The Arbor neighborhoods and the monthly family support dinners. She has a way of making hard conversations feel less lonely.

Business Office Director
Emmanuel handles billing, long-term care insurance claims, VA paperwork and Medicaid waiver questions, patiently and in plain English.

Chaplain
Pastor Grant leads chapel on Sundays, visits anyone who asks, and sits with families when the news is hard. All faiths are welcome at his table, and so are questions.

Lead Caregiver, The Arbor
Kwame has worked memory care at Bellwether for eleven years. Residents who no longer remember names still light up when he walks in humming.
Sample family reviews
Mama gardened her whole life. The first morning, Celeste handed her a trowel and a flat of petunias. She cried, and then she got to work.
Dad is in The Arbor now. Kwame sings Hank Williams with him every afternoon. On his worst days, that still works.
We toured six places. Bellwether was the only one where the residents were outside.
Priya gave us every fee on one sheet of paper before we sat down. In three years there has not been a single surprise.
Afternoon tea is my favorite hour of the day. I've made more friends at that table than I did in thirty years of church potlucks.
When my husband moved to memory care, they found me an apartment right down the hall. I can have breakfast with him every morning.
Joan called me at seven in the morning to say Mom seemed off. By noon the doctor had found a urinary infection. That call saved us a hospital stay.
The food is honestly better than mine. Don't tell my mother I said that, although she already knows.
Emmanuel helped us get Dad's VA Aid and Attendance approved. It took four months and he never let it drop.
I came for two weeks of respite after my hip. Six months later I'm still here, and my tomatoes are the best on the patio.
When Mom died, the staff lined the hallway as she left. Pastor Grant sat with us for an hour. I will never forget their kindness.

Call or text Marisol's team to arrange a tour at any of our three homes. Tea is at three.
