Physical therapy, six days a week
Strength, walking, stairs and transfers, in a gym with parallel bars, a practice staircase and a car door.
Medicare Part A
Rehab & skilled nursing · Wichita Falls, TX
120 beds on the southwest side of Wichita Falls. Therapy six days a week, a respiratory therapist on staff, and nurses who have seen it all and still knock before they come in.
Plain answers
Will Medicare pay? Usually, after a qualifying hospital stay. How long will Dad be here? About as long as it takes him to get up the front steps at home, and we will tell you every week how close he is. Can we visit at night? Yes. Any night.
We've been doing this since 1972, long enough to know that families don't need a brochure. They need a straight answer, a phone number that someone picks up, and a nurse who calls before things become a problem.

Sample family reviews
Bypass surgery in October. Home by Thanksgiving. Kyle had me walking the parking lot in the second week.
I asked how long Mom would be there and they gave me an actual answer, then updated it every Friday. That never happened at the other place.
Dad came in on oxygen around the clock. The respiratory therapist had him off it during the day by week three.
Andre figured out Dad's VA benefits in one afternoon after we'd been stuck for months.
My wife has lived here five years. The aides know she likes her coffee black and her radio on the country station. That's all I ask.
Jolene sent me photos of Mom's wound every week. I watched it close from Dallas.
They called me at 11 p.m. to say Grandpa had a fever and what they were doing about it. Then they called again at 6 to say it broke.
Knee replacement, eighteen days, went home and back to the golf course by spring. No complaints.
Rooms & suites
Every room has an electric bed, a call light that gets answered and a window that opens.

A private room on the rehab hall, thirty steps from the gym. Most short-stay patients go home from one of these.

Your own room, your own furniture, your own pictures on the wall.

Wider doors, a ceiling lift and a bed rated for larger patients, without feeling like a hospital.

A furnished room for a short stay while the family caregiver at home gets a break.
