Short-term rehab

Medicare Part A covers skilled rehab after a qualifying three-day inpatient hospital stay. Advantage plans need prior approval, which we request.

• Physical therapy, six days a week

  Strength, walking, stairs and transfers, in a gym with parallel bars, a practice staircase and a car door.

  Dressing, bathing, cooking and getting in and out of the tub, practiced until it's routine.

• Respiratory therapist on staff

  Oxygen weaning, nebulizers, CPAP and BiPAP, and tracheostomy care managed by a licensed respiratory therapist.

  A certified wound nurse, weekly measurements and photos, and a physician who rounds on wounds.

  RNs and LVNs on every hall, every shift, with an RN supervisor in the building around the clock.

  Transportation to and from outpatient dialysis, with renal diets and fluid limits tracked here.
