Love notes

We married at twenty in Batesville and renewed our vows at eighty under the Rosewood arbor. Same two people. Better roses.
Walter and June P.Residents since 2015
When Mother moved to the Rose Cottage, Dad walked over every morning with a single rose from the garden. The staff kept them in a vase by her bed.
Karen S.Daughter of residents
I was a florist for forty years. Here I get to grow the flowers instead of selling them. It's the best job I've ever had.
Dorothy L.Resident since 2019
My rehab after my hip was in the Health Center. My wife brought lunch every day and we ate it in the garden.
Frank M.Resident since 2017
They found us a couples' suite when Ray needed help and I didn't. We never spent a night apart.
Bonnie R.Resident since 2018
The nurses call after every care meeting. We're in Memphis and we've never once felt far away.
Michael and Lynn T.Son and daughter-in-law of a resident
Afternoon tea at three, every day. I didn't think I'd care. Now I plan my day around it.
Harold K.Resident since 2021
Mama's last weeks were in the Health Center, with the window open to the roses. It was peaceful, and the staff treated her like their own.
Ellen G.Daughter of a resident

The roses bloom in June. Come see them.

Call Lillian or book a tour online. Tea is always on.
