Our team

Executive Director
Catherine spent eighteen years managing hotels in Dallas before her own mother needed care. She opened Wexford House to bring the two worlds together.

Medical Director
A geriatrician in Tarrant County for twenty-five years, Dr. Kim sees residents in the house and reviews every care plan.

Wellness Director
Simone came from a cardiac unit in Fort Worth. She sees every resident weekly and gives families her direct line.

Executive Chef
Julian cooked at restaurants in Fort Worth and Austin. He visits each new resident before their first dinner to learn what they like.

Life Enrichment Director
A former museum educator, Elise plans the outings, the lectures and the Thursday music, and knows which residents will want the aisle seat.

Director of Residence
Martin runs the concierge desk, the drivers and the house itself. Nothing is too small to ask him.

Lead Caregiver
Rosa has been with the house since it opened. She trains every caregiver in the way residents like things done.

Family Liaison
Leah guides families from the first visit through the first month, and calls every family the week after move-in.
Sample family reviews
My mother ran a household of seven for forty years. Wexford House is the first place that runs one the way she would.
Julian learned my father's Sunday omelet in one try. Dad has stopped telling people he's 'in a home.' He says he lives at Wexford.
With thirty-two residents, the nurse noticed Mom was quieter at breakfast and caught a urinary infection before it became a hospital stay.
We live in London. The weekly note from Leah, with photographs, is the next best thing to being there.
I still go to the symphony. The driver walks me to my seat and is waiting at the curb afterward.
The suite looked like my parents' living room on the first day. Martin had hung every picture where it was at home.
Afternoon tea in the library is the best hour of my week, and I visit four days out of seven.
We toured six communities. This was the only one where every caregiver we passed greeted a resident by name.
After my hip surgery I stayed three weeks in the recovery suite. I came back a year later to stay.
