Overview

This policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage used on this website. Census Web Studio is a division of Echelon Excellence Group LLC. For everything else we collect, see our Privacy Policy.

The short version

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, session recording or third-party analytics. Our fonts are served from our own server, not from Google Fonts. Browsing this website sets no cookies of our own.

Our visitor statistics

We count visits with our own statistics, run on our own server. They use no cookies and store nothing in your browser. Each visit gets an anonymous code that changes every day, and no IP addresses are saved. We also count taps on call, text and email links, checkout clicks and form submissions, again with no cookies and no identifiers. See “Information we collect” in our Privacy Policy for details.

Cloudflare security cookies

Cloudflare delivers and protects this website. If Cloudflare shows a short security check (for example, when a design preview is opened from a link outside this site), it may set a strictly necessary security cookie, such as cf_clearance, so you are not checked again on every page. It is not used for advertising. See Cloudflare’s Cookie Policy.

Stripe checkout

When you buy a design, you leave this website for a secure checkout page hosted by Stripe at checkout.stripe.com. Stripe sets its own cookies on that page to process your payment and prevent fraud. Those cookies are covered by Stripe’s Cookie Policy, not by this policy. This website itself does not load any Stripe scripts.

Browser storage we use

A few features save small notes in your browser’s own storage. They never leave your browser and do not identify you.

• Design hold (local storage, names starting with vc-hold:). When you select Buy, we reserve the design and save a short code so it stays reserved for you if you come back from the Stripe page. It expires after about 30 minutes and is removed when checkout finishes or is cancelled.
• Page transition (session storage, vc-ptc). On design previews, a one-time flag plays the page-turn effect when you move between pages. It is removed on the next page and cleared when you close the tab.
• Staff opt-out (local storage, vc_internal). Set only when our own staff turn off visit counting on their devices.

Staff sign-in cookie

Our staff console uses one sign-in cookie (vc_admin). It is set only when a staff member signs in, works only inside the console, and expires after 12 hours. Visitors never receive it.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies and site storage in your browser settings. The website works without them. If you block storage, a design hold may not survive a page reload, and Cloudflare may show its security check more often.

Changes

If we add a new cookie or tool, we will update this page and the date at the top.
