Bentonville is the seat of Benton County. The city had about 63,100 residents in 2025 by Census Bureau estimates, and only 8.3% were 65 or older in the 2020 to 2024 American Community Survey. Bella Vista, just north, is a different story: 31.6% of its residents were 65 or older in the same survey. Benton County as a whole was 14.5% 65 and older in the 2025 estimates, with about 332,600 residents.
That split shapes the website. Bella Vista readers are often the older adults themselves, planning ahead, who want floor plans, costs and what daily life looks like. Bentonville and Rogers readers are often adult children who want to know about care levels, family updates and how quickly you can admit. Separate pages for each audience work better than one page for everyone.
Hospital names changed in 2026. Freeman Health System completed its purchase of Northwest Health on June 1, 2026, and the Bentonville hospital is now listed as Freeman Health System - Bentonville Medical Center. Freeman says more naming updates will follow, so update any referral partner lists, discharge planning pages and old blog posts that still say Northwest Medical Center. Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas in Rogers is the other main local hospital.
Benton County is also multilingual. In the 2020 to 2024 American Community Survey, 15.8% of county residents age 5 and up spoke a language other than English at home, 17.6% in Bentonville and 25.5% in Rogers. If your staff can admit and care for families in other languages, say so.
